Seizure Training Summary:
If someone is having a seizure call EMS. Protect the patient's head and neck from hitting objects or the ground. Do not try to completely immobilize the patient and do not place anything in the patient's mouth. Once the seizure has stopped, airway, breathing, and circulation can be assessed. If the patient does not begin breathing on his own in a few seconds, start rescue breathing. Remain with the patient until EMS arrives.
